Series 2: 16. Jam #36: Stupendous Saxophones

YolanDa Brown and her house band, The Band Jaminals, entertain an audience of children - the Band Jammers - with live music and special guests!\n\nYolanDa gets everyone moving with Animal Bop, which sees the Band Jammers dancing fast and then standing completely still.\n\nIn this episode YolanDa welcomes fellow saxophonist Amy Dickson to perform! Amy explains how playing the saxophone really helped calm her nerves and demonstrates some breathing techniques, which YolanDa and the Band Jammers then try out.\n\nThe Fact Jam then further explores the saxophone, and we learn all about a man who once played a single saxophone note for forty seven minutes!\n\nAmy then performs a solo piece on the saxophone, before being invited by YolanDa and the Band Jammers to take part in the Big Band Jam at the end of the programme.\n\nNext, there's a short film which follows a Band Jammer as she visits the CBeebies Summer Social and has her very first music festival experience.\n\nYolanDa and the Band Jaminals perform with Amy Dickson for the Big Band Jam, and they get everyone moving with an energetic performance of Baby Elephant Walk.
