Series 2: 11. Jam #31: Funky Flute

YolanDa Brown and her house band, the Band Jaminals, entertain an audience of children - the Band Jammers - with live music and special guests!\n\nYolanDa gets everyone moving with the Clapping Song, encouraging everyone to clap and dance lively and fast.\n\nJoining YolanDa in this episode is extraordinary flautist Greg Pattillo. Greg demonstrates his unique flute-playing skills, combining beatbox and flute playing to create an amazing effect.\n\nThe Fact Jam then looks at the flute in more depth – we find out that flutes can be made of lots of different things, such as glass, wood and even bone!\n\nGreg then does a lively beatbox performance of Hotel Craziness, before being invited by YolanDa and the Band Jammers to take part in the Big Band Jam at the end of the programme.\n\nNext there's a short film, which follows a group of Band Jammers as they find out about some very unusual Chinese instruments.\n\nYolanDa and the Band Jaminals perform with Greg Pattillo for the Big Band Jam, getting everyone moving with an energetic performance of Toot Toot.
