Series 2: 20. Mission: Day Off

Newfoundland Sylvie is a therapy dog with big soft cuddles who loves to help people when they’re worried. She and her owner Katrina visit all sorts of people every day, young and old.\n\nIt’s Sylvie and Katrina’s day off, and they’re planning a special lunch at the park café. At the bus stop, they meet Dawn from the toy shop, who is worried that her bus is running late. But seeing Sylvie waiting calmly inspires Dawn to do the same. At the park, Katrina and Sylvie bump into Harry the baker, literally! Harry is worried too; his shop oven isn’t working. Sylvie nuzzles him in support. Grateful for their help, Harry offers Sylvie and Katrina a cake.\n\nThen, they meet Pete the postie, who is helping his daughter Caitlin ride her balance bike for the first time. Katrina suggests that Sylvie walks alongside Caitlin as she finds her confidence. Before long, Caitlin is loving every moment. Katrina and Sylvie finally arrive at the park café, only to find that it’s closed. Sylvie summons her super heart and the friends they’ve met along the way to comfort Katrina and to show her that when you’re kind to others, they’re often kind to you in return.
