Series 2: 11. Mission: Fun Run

Diesel is a hearing dog for his teenage owner, Rayane, who is deaf. This means he doesn’t hear everything. Diesel is trained to listen out for important sounds that Rayane might miss. Diesel is Rayane’s ears. Together, they’re unstoppable!\n\nDiesel and Rayane are off to the park, where their football team are doing a sponsored fun run to raise the funds for a new kit. Diesel has a busy day ahead. First, he has to filter out all the sounds in the busy park to help Rayane find his friends Grace and Karim and the rest of his teammates at the start line. Then, he has to listen for the klaxon so he can let Rayane know the race is starting. He doesn’t want him to get left behind!\n\nRayane’s football coach uses British Sign Language to communicate the rules of the race to the runners before they set off. Diesel has to run alongside Rayane and alert him to any danger or to anyone trying to get past. Karim is leading the field until he takes a wrong turn – and Rayane and Diesel set off in hot pursuit. Can they catch their friend and help him finish the race?
