Series 1: 3. The Threat

Gilles reluctantly negotiates with the Taliban to arrange the evacuation of refugees by bus. Meanwhile, Giovanni struggles to get his first plane of Afghan refugees off the ground, facing resistance from the Americans who control the airport. \n\nVera tracks down Milad, one of General Hassan’s soldiers, who leads her to a Taliban camp where the general is allegedly being held. Amina finally decides to flee the hospital but turns back to take Nooria with her. They rush toward the French embassy, but they arrive too late - the convoy has already left, aided by Mohammad, a Taliban fighter who demands to be taken with them. Meanwhile, Fazal, now working for the Americans, resumes his undercover identity to infiltrate an Isis cell.
