Outside the French embassy, refugees wait anxiously as the Taliban begin to surround the area. Zahara, still on the run, hopes to find safety, while Gilles struggles to organise the evacuation of the growing number of refugees.\n\nFazal, now being hunted by the Taliban, returns to Kabul to seek refuge with Martin, a former American intelligence contact. Amina witnesses the Taliban’s brutality toward Nooria and hesitates about whether to flee to the French embassy. Giovanni, dealing with the dire sanitary conditions at the airport, attempts to maintain order. Meanwhile, Vera sets off on her unauthorised mission to locate General Hassan.
