Series 38: 14. On Tour: Barcelona
Nadeem Islam visits Barcelona, the capital city of Catalonia in Spain, where political tensions and cultural identity run deep. Nadeem meets up with British ex-pat Emlyn Burton, the proprietor of the Ziryab restaurants and bars - can he get a job behind the bar? Well, it depends on how good his mojito-making skills are. Nadeem also gets rollerblading lessons from Shan, who emigrated from Pakistan and now teaches deaf groups how to navigate the streets of the city on wheels.\n\nWhile Nadeem is in town, the La Merce festival is in full swing - expect lots of fireworks and human towers! And of course, no visit to Barcelona would be complete without taking in a match at the legendary Nou Camp stadium, home of Barcelona Football Club.
