Jools welcomes Brighton rock duo Royal Blood to perform a couple of songs from their fifth album Dead Company, written and recorded ‘with the stage in mind’ and described by the band as ‘self-produced or more 'anti-produced''.\n \nFrom Lewisham, drummer and bandleader Moses Boyd performs two songs from his second album Songs for Sinners, which sees him sonically document his upbringing surrounded by gospel and jazz music as well as London sound system culture. Jools also chats to Moses at the piano about how he got into drumming and the importance of a drummer as a bandleader.\n\nJools also welcomes singer, songwriter, DJ and label owner Shygirl, who delivers an electric performance of her single Alyse, a haunting love song that blends rock, metal, and dark electronic elements taken from her second album SWALLOW!.\n\nIndie-folk three-piece from Ireland Kingfishr make their debut on the show with their single How Lonely, having enjoyed huge success in their homeland and ahead of embarking on a European tour.\n\nCompleting the musical line-up is cellist and vocalist Ayanna Witter-Johnson, who performs her track Blue, taken from her first solo album in three years, described as ‘a reflection on identity, belonging and rebirth as someone of British-Caribbean roots’.\n\nFrom Birmingham, legendary guitarist and co-founder of Black Sabbath Tony Iommi chats to Jools at the piano about his musical beginnings, sharing memories of his bandmate Ozzy Osbourne and discussing his first new solo album in 21 years, From the Dark. \n\nJools also marks the 20th anniversary of Amy Winehouse’s iconic album Back to Black with a dip into the archives to remember her performance on the show in 2006.
