Series 11: 7. Yacht on the Reef
A French yacht has made a mayday call after suffering mechanical failure near Jersey. The St Helier crew must rescue the vessel before it drifts onto a notoriously treacherous reef.\n\nIn Porthcawl, when multiple 999 calls come in about a man who has been swept into the sea, the crew launch into the most dangerous conditions they’ve ever faced.\n\nJust along the south Wales coast, the Barry Dock lifeboat is tasked with two casualties on a remote island who have ingested hemlock: a poisonous plant that can be fatal.\n\nAcross the Irish Sea, the crew are paged after reports come in of a swimmer in difficulty. And in Moelfre, north Wales, training night is interrupted by a dog owner whose beloved pet has jumped off a cliff.
