After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip is forced to confront the consequences of what her investigation exposed. It may have cleared Sal’s name, but it tore Cara’s family apart, and the guilt weighs heavily on Pip. In an attempt to rebuild her relationship with Cara, Pip releases a podcast to tell the world the real story.\n\nThe only person yet to face justice is Max Hastings, and as his trial approaches, Pip is determined to help his victims find closure. However, the prosecution’s case begins to falter when Becca Bell withdraws from testifying. Unwilling to accept this, Pip musters the courage to visit Becca in prison with the hope of convincing her that giving evidence still matters.\n\nPip wants to focus on supporting Ravi at the upcoming memorial for his brother, but when a mysterious note promising information on Max appears in her locker, Pip must make a difficult decision.\n\nLittle Kilton comes together to say goodbye to both Andie Bell and Sal Singh. The end of one dark chapter gives way to another, as Cara finds herself in a dangerous situation, and Jamie Reynolds, Connor’s brother and a key witness in Max’s trial, disappears without warning.
