Katya is in Germany’s Bavarian mountains, paragliding over Neuschwanstein Castle. From there, she travels to meet the mayor of Kallstadt, the ancestral home of the Trump family, before heading to America’s largest airbase in Europe, Ramstein, home to tens of thousands of US troops.\n\nHeading to Spain, Katya begins in the region of Catalonia, where she witnesses an extraordinary local custom: the building of towers made of people. She discovers from a participant, Maria, that she feels Catalan and not Spanish. Katya discovers how this strong nationalist identity ties into the legacy of the dictator Francisco Franco. She meets tearful 85-year-old Rafael, whose father was killed when he was just one year old and whose remains have never been found.
