Yorkshire couple Julie and Jason were happily married for 27 years. However, five years ago, Julie started going through perimenopause and menopause, which changed everything. She had no idea why she suddenly felt so different about the relationship. The couple began constantly fighting, and she even left her husband on several occasions.\n\nNow she is getting the correct medical treatment for her symptoms, it’s time to repair the hurt caused by five years of hostility and unkindness. The couple take on a problem-solving challenge to see how they work together, before Bear sets them a rescue mission - to keep an ember alight while gathering fuel for a signal fire.\n\nRelationship therapist Simone talks to them about the hurt they have experienced and encourages them to rekindle the spark they once shared.
