The Met Office is also home to the National Meteorological Library, which is full of fascinating weather-related artefacts, including an early form of barometer powered by leeches! It also has the all-important weather charts from the Normandy landings. TV weather presenter Alex Deakin explains to Christina why this was the most important forecast in history.\n\nDelving into the archives, Christina charts the teams who swept across the country buying weather-related treasures, before she rounds up those who stormed to a profit at auction.
