Today’s teams are in west Wales, hoping to hammer out a profit with their buys, while presenter Roo Irvine learns about the centuries-old craft of making chain mail. Professor Phil Parkes demonstrates how he uses thousands of interlocking rings of wire and a hammer and anvil to weave rows of flexible armour. Phil is one of only a few traditional chain mail makers in the UK, and he is passionate about keeping the craft alive. \n\nOver in Llandeilo, there is a battle taking place between two teams of colleagues. Podiatrists Eve and Rachel plan to keep the blues on their toes. Their opposition are education adviser and team manager Gareth and Nira.\n\nWith Richard Madley by their side, the reds hope to clean up with a Georgian washstand, until they see the price tag. Meanwhile, Izzie Balmer and Nira spot a silver chain necklace. It’s hallmarked, but it doesn’t get Gareth’s stamp of approval. Down the road in Carmarthen, the teams put their faith in auctioneer Ian Taylor to make them money, and Richard thinks on his feet for his bonus buy.
