Kirsten is a wingwalker with the world’s only formation wingwalking display team. Three years ago, she and pilot Dave narrowly escaped death when their aircraft was forced to ditch into the sea in front of thousands of spectators. In 2025, they will perform a new move that is more daring and difficult than anything they’ve ever done before.\n\nAs they gear up for their first big public performance of the season, we follow Kirsten, Dave, fellow wingwalker Emma and pilot Mike through intense training, sky-high adrenaline and meticulous planning. Physical fitness, perfect timing and total trust between wingwalker and pilot is everything. But this isn’t just about technical skill. \n\nIt’s a story of resilience, ambition and recovery. After the traumatic ditch, Kirsten had to overcome both physical and psychological hurdles to fly again. Now, with a new formation manoeuvre on the cards, the pressure is on like never before. With the threat of bad weather and tight timeframes, the film builds towards a nail-biting final performance. Will they pull it off? And what drives someone to walk on the wings of a WWII aircraft at 140mph, thousands of feet above the ground?
