Jools welcomes the return of Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand, who were last on the show in 2013, to perform a couple of songs from their sixth album, The Human Fear.\n\nSouth London artist Joy Crookes returns with her first new music in four years to perform a couple of new songs, including I Know You’d Kill, a track written about trust and Joy’s path through music.\n\nBristol singer, songwriter and musician Tor Maries, aka Billy Nomates, performs The Test from her third album, Metalhorse.\n\nAnd there are three more artists all making their debut on the show. From Nottingham, 2024 MOBO Award winners and sister duo ALT BLK ERA perform My Drummer’s Girlfriend from their debut album, Rave Immortal. From Brooklyn, New York, Cameron Winter performs a track from his first solo offering, entitled Heavy Metal, and from Nashville, new rising star of the American country music scene Jackson Dean performs the song Heavens to Betsy from his second album, On the Back of My Dreams.\n\nJools also chats at the piano to powerhouse vocalist-turned-theatre star Beverley Knight, who is currently taking on the role of Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the theatre tour of Marie & Rosetta, and 80s icon Holly Johnson, frontman of Frankie Goes to Hollywood, who are celebrating over 40 years of their seminal debut album, Welcome to the Pleasuredome.
