Bermuda’s natural beauty is renowned around the world, and nowhere illustrates this more than Cooper’s Island Nature Reserve on the south east tip of the island. \n\nOn duty in this ecological oasis are officers Eddie Smith and Jen Ysseldyke. During patrol, they discover a car illegally parked inside this protected area. The officers eventually find the culprit, but in the process discover Officer Smith has accidentally locked the gate to the nature reserve, leaving everyone trapped inside. It takes patience, as well as numerous phone calls, before the officers are eventually released from captivity – much to their own amusement. \n\nOver on the north east side of the island, officers Justin Hunt and Moya O’Gilvie-Milwood are on duty. They discover an abandoned moped, which they suspect is stolen, in bushes. But it’s not long before the duo need to attend an urgent case in a poorer side of town. Two neighbours are having a heated argument, and it takes Justin and Moya’s careful intervention to ease tensions between the two warring men. They then take a tour of Tucker’s Town, the most exclusive part of the island and home to the very rich and famous. \n\nBermuda has more than 60 miles of stunning coastline. The police need to be ready to tackle the most serious crimes out at sea – even murder. British police reservist Hugo Benziger and his colleagues within the coastguard routinely need to conduct crucial scuba-diving exercises, including the recovery of a fake dead body nicknamed ‘Ruth Lee’. We also follow the training of new recruit Gaby as she decides whether she wants to become part of the elite scuba-diving team.
