According to the island’s dog wardens, Bermuda is home to an illegal network of underground dog breeders. Officer Robin MacNab of the police K9 unit has teamed up with the wardens to execute a raid on a property suspected of illegally breeding pit bulls. It’s heartbreaking for Robin, who says she has been to one where the dogs looked like skeletons and were very weak.\n\nWhen the team arrive, they discover six illegally bred puppies inside the property, but thankfully on this occasion all the pit bulls are recovered in good condition. We follow Robin as she hands over one of the pups to a foster carer ahead of it being adopted.\n\nKeeping Bermuda’s narrow, winding roads safe are constables Daischon Chin and British-born Jen Suter. We follow the duo as they perform roadside stops of uninsured vehicles, as well as helping change the tyre of a citizen in need – all part of the job when you’re a police officer on this island paradise.\n\nTourism is vital to Bermuda, being responsible for the creation of close to 3,000 jobs on the island, so keeping holidaymakers safe is a vital job for the police. On patrol, officers Krishna Singh, James Eli and Chris Douglas are hunting a fake tour guide making money out of tourists without having the correct qualifications. The trio head to Blue Hole Hill, a beauty spot popular with tourists, in search of the rogue operator, but on this occasion, they fail to track him down. Nevertheless, the officers believe their presence will prove to be a crucial deterrent.
