In the vegetable garden, it’s time to harvest garlic and an early crop of beans. He also plants up some narrow borders in the new seating area with species that will thrive in poor, shallow soil.\n\nAdam Frost travels to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens to discover more about the huge restoration project taking place. Nick Bailey continues to develop the design for his new forever garden.\n\nThere's a passionate couple who have dedicated a lifetime to growing and hybridising thousands of cacti, and a visit to a garden in Sheffield filled with an eclectic mix of upcycled, recycled and collected treasure.
