And there’s a passionate gardener who gave up a busy city life to create the garden of her dreams from scratch.\n\nIn North Yorkshire, Frances Tophill visits the gardens at Newby Hall to marvel at their display of candelabra primulas. Plus a visit to a mother-and-daughter team just south of Glasgow as they prepare to make their debut at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show with a dazzling display of spring flowers.
