Series 1: Walking with Steph McGovern
Steph McGovern walks along the charming and isolated valley of Littondale in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, describing her special connection with the area. From the hamlet of Foxup she makes her way along roads and riverside paths to the capital of the dale at Arncliffe. \n\nWalking alone with a just a 360-degree camera, she meets farmers who have been on this land for generations and youngsters who are starting a new business. Following the course of the River Skirfare, her path passes farmhouses and through the village of Litton. Steph relishes the chance to ‘get off the treadmill’ and takes a moment to hear the flow of the water and smell the flowers. \n\nSteph describes how the dales have always had a place in her heart – they are landscapes she returns to in difficult times. Along the way she expresses thoughts on fame and family.
