
We follow 9-year-old Alexa whose eyesight is failing due to having a rare eye condition called Brittle Cornea Syndrome. Alexa and her doctors don’t know if and when she will go blind so she is preparing herself in case the worst happens and she loses her sight altogether. Bookworm Alexa is determined to not lose her ability to do what she loves most, read. Alexa also wants to make as many memories as possible, while she has sight - from seeing the Eiffel Tower to meeting her favourite author, Jacqueline Wilson, Alexa wants to see and do it all. But not knowing how long she has, will she achieve it all in time? And will meeting Lucy, blind make up blogger, make Alexa finally realise that there is life after blindness?
