This series of Neighbourhood Blues follows Northumbria Police's neighbourhood teams as they work with the public to keep our streets safe across the north east of England.\n\nThe neighbourhood team in Gateshead is put on high alert when a man threatens a woman with a crossbow. As a siege unfolds outside a house on a busy residential street, the team works with the Armed Response Unit to bring the situation to a peaceful conclusion. \n\nAfter discovering countless cannabis farms being manned by human slaves against their will, Northumbria Police launch Operation Kestrel, a force-wide crackdown to find those profiting from misery and illegal drug production. \n\nPCSOs Craig and Jill know something isn't right when they notice a vandalised car on their usual patrol. After doing some digging, the pair find a family who are being attacked regularly and do everything they can to help them.
