Series 1: 1. The Fightback Begins

Four teams of players attempt to complete their mission by directing their avatars to dodge danger, take on terrifying tasks and get out alive in this brand new sci-fi game show. \n\nOn the Ykarus Biotech space station, the massively powerful AI Sciron, was created to save Kaladian society from the Sickness. She created a virus that protects Kaladians from disease, but robs them of all their feelings and emotions. And now Sciron is using her army of Cybers to take over. \n\nTwo per cent of Kaladians are immune and they are fighting back, and the resistance is gathering strength. Skye, the leader of the freedom fighters was forced to flee and is now alone in a different galaxy from where she is recruiting commanders from Earth to help defeat Sciron and reverse the effects of the Perfecting Virus.\n\nIn Last Commanders, Skye connects the players with the freedom fighters they're controlling. Not only do they talk to their avatar to guide them through the space station, the commanders hear what their character hears and see what their character sees.\n\nIn this episode, commanders Wills and Hills direct Vaygus the smuggler, Diana, Sian and Dammi guide cool-under-pressure Tal, Alex, Tzavier, Will and Harry work with Catara the spy, and Christopher and Francesca choose brainiac Dexx to try to escape the Perfection Lab and download the crucial data files from Dr Kline. If any of them can succeed it will help Skye build an antivirus and start the fightback against Sciron\n\nCombining a science-fiction story, the intense gameplay of first person video games and the fun and entertainment of game show television, Last Commanders is a planet-hopping, universe-spanning, space-opera adventure gameshow.
