Huw Edwards witnessed the turbulent birth of Welsh devolution first-hand while broadcasting the results of the knife-edge 1997 referendum vote to the rest of the UK.\n\nTwo decades later, he goes on a 500-mile journey around Wales to see how the country has changed. He meets people who are making an impact on their communities with years of frontline experience in health, education and the economy.\n\nHe also finds out what difference, if any, devolved government has made to people's lives and whether attitudes have changed to the very notion of a Welsh Assembly.
