William Lee leads an aimless life in the bars of Mexico City, hanging out with other American expats, indulging in drugs and picking up men. Lacking any kind of real emotional connection, when William meets an enigmatic student named Eugene, he becomes obsessed and begins a desperate, drug-fuelled journey into darkness and self-discovery.
