BBC Children in Need returns with an entertainment extravaganza, live from MediaCityUK in Salford, to raise life-changing funds for children and young people across the UK. \n \nHosts Mel Giedroyc, Rochelle Humes, Vernon Kay, Lenny Rush and newbies Paddy McGuinness and Big Zuu present a jam-packed evening of comedy sketches, music performances, special surprises and famous faces as you’ve never seen them before. \n\nThroughout the night, special films will feature some of the children and young people whose lives have been changed by the support given to them by BBC Children in Need. The show will also shine a light on fundraisers up and down the country who go above and beyond for Pudsey.\n\nEveryone is invited to get involved and donate to make a difference to the lives of children and young people in communities across the UK. Money raised will help the charity ensure that there’s someone able to give food, clothes and beds to a child living without these basic items; someone qualified to talk to a child who is anxious, isolated or grieving; someone trained to mentor teenagers in communities facing inequality, violence or lack of opportunity; and someone to be there for children living with serious illness, disability or carrying a load that’s just too heavy to manage alone.\n\nThe need for donations has never been greater than right now.
