The roadshow is in Yorkshire at Lister Park and Cartwright Hall in Bradford, City of Culture for 2025.\n\nWayne Colquhoun is thrilled to see a sketch by John Lennon, while Steven Moore discovers a vase that has been languishing under the owner’s kitchen sink for years, which turns out to be worth a small fortune.\n\nRobert Tilney is intrigued to see a miniature cavalry sword, commissioned and given as a gift by Queen Victoria, while Joanna Hardy is delighted to see a unique brooch by one of her favourite jewellery designers, Andrew Grima. \n\nThe work of Yorkshire-born furniture maker Robert Thompson is always a popular draw at the roadshow. Famed for his handcrafted oak pieces marked with his signature carved mouse, there’s no shortage of Thompson’s work on Ronnie Archer-Morgan’s table.\n\nDrawing inspiration from Bradford’s Asian community, Runjeet Singh challenges Fiona Bruce to guess some mystery items, and inside Cartwright Hall, Fiona meets local artist Razwan Ul-Haq, whose work as part of Bradford’s City of Culture explores the ancient tradition of Islamic calligraphy.
