Bradford is the UK’s City of Culture in 2025, and we are getting in on the action! At an antiques centre in the west of the city, two teams of culture vultures are ready to shop for profits and represent their beloved Bradford. In red are charity workers Lauren and Piers, guided by their expert Roo Irvine. Their opponents in blue are friends Irene and Humaira, captained by David Harper. \n\nThe reds soon spot an unusual table in the shape of a pile of books, but they don’t reckon it’s a bestseller! Meanwhile, optometrist Humaira becomes the expert when she stumbles upon an old cabinet of optician’s lenses, but her teammate Irene has her eye on something more decorative.\n\nWhile the reds and the blues take a break from their shopping, presenter Natasha Raskin Sharp visits an artist who is on a mission to capture the essence of Bradford’s DNA in coloured inks created from materials found in the local landscape. There’s no shortage of culture at Caroline Hawley’s auction in East Yorkshire, with one famous face making a surprise appearance at the end of the show.
