Two young women are shot dead while out celebrating New Year’s Eve in Birmingham. The crime bears all the hallmarks of a gangland shooting, but neither woman has any connection to the gangs. They are innocent victims, and it makes police all the more determined to catch their killers. They launch an audacious undercover operation to infiltrate rival gangs, but will they find the moment of proof they need to arrest the killer?\n\nAnd a thief is caught on camera stealing from a Royal Mail van in broad daylight. Despite the footage, police struggle to identify him... until a police community service officer from a neighbouring force recognises the person in the images.
