Laura Wright celebrates God’s gift of friendship and explores its heartwarming power by meeting Christians whose faith has been enriched by the love of their friends.\n\nShe meets with Sheridan Voysey, a Christian author and broadcaster. From his research, he shares insights that show friendship is really suffering in our modern, busy lives. He highlights the value that the Bible places on friendship and offers advice on cultivating deeper and longer-lasting relationships. \n\nLaura also chats with friends Mandy and Nicki, who have been inseparable for decades. They tell Laura how they believe God has called them to use their talents and their friendship to share their faith. Mandy and Nicki spent nearly 20 years touring their evangelical cabaret-style show, before their current venture aimed at fostering friendships in a community arts centre. \n\nFinally, teenage friends Alaric and Jonathan share how they have bonded through faith and poetry. Their connection transcends disability and different communication styles and provides unwavering support through life's challenges. \n\nWith hymns from around the UK, including: \n\n1. What a Friend We Have in Jesus - Trinity Baptist Church, Croydon \n2. Brother Sister Let Me Serve You - St Pol de Leon, Penzance \n3. Goodness of God - Saint Wilfred Church, Bognor Regis \n4. He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands - St Michael and All Angels, Garton on the Wolds \n5. Yet Not I But Through Christ in Me - Guildhall, Londonderry \n6. My Heart Is Filled with Thankfulness, Crathie Kirk, Ballater \n7. The Lord’s My Shepherd - Inverness Cathedral
