The roadshow is in Northern Ireland at Belfast’s Botanic Gardens, where treasures include a collection of football shirts worn by some of the world’s most famous goalkeepers.\n\nGordon Foster’s winning collection is a modernist silver tea set, designed by sought-after visionary Christopher Dresser in the 1880s, which was found hidden amongst football socks and boots.\n\nA dazzling trio of brooches catches jewellery expert Susan Rumfitt’s eye, including diamond crescent moons, bows, and a gold and ruby flower from Tiffany & Co.\n\nA busy roadshow leaves no time for Ronnie Archer-Morgan to put his feet up as he examines one of Liberty of London’s most iconic designs – a leather footstool in the shape of a rhinoceros by Omersa.\n\nA careworn character doll, monkey and lamb by collectable toy manufacturers Steiff catch Marc Allum’s attention.\n\nJustin Croft finds an early edition of one of the Brontë sisters’ most popular books, and Frances Christie is cheered by a beautiful seascape on a rainy Belfast day. \n\nFiona Bruce discovers the drawings and research of unsung Irish botanist John Templeton, and art and painting expert Grant Ford shares works by his favourite Irish artists, Jack Butler Yeats and Sean McSweeney. \n\nA natural pearl pendant and brooch, which one of our guests inherited from her glamorous theatre performer grandmother, are the real show-stoppers.
