Series 5: 21. Dairy Separator

Nigel Havers welcomes sellers of collectibles and curiosities to the Bidding Room's home in Edinburgh, where they ply their wares to five dealers. \n\nFirst through the doors is Joseph, with a pair of antique golf clubs that he hopes will be on par with the dealers. Joseph will need to get room in full swing if he wants to get a 'fairway' towards raising enough money for a music therapy charity. \n\nNext in is Claire from Cumbria, with an impressive display of lighting. Her huge chandelier with hand-blown glass shades comes with matching wall sconces – all salvaged from a renovation of her local café. Nigel is on hand to show off the lights to their full potential, but can Claire get the dealers switched on to the collection? \n\nArriving at Edinburgh HQ next is Richard, an engineer who once dreamed of being a vet. So passionate about his potential journey to veterinary medicine, his mother gifted him an Edwardian medicine chest, discovered in a Suffolk antiques shop. Well-loved, the veterinary box is now ready for a new home – will any of the dealers come up with the right treatment to make it their own? \n\nFourth into the room is Sally, with a unique sculpture by artist Ray Lonsdale. Bought at auction seven years ago, Sally wants to sell the artwork to raise money for her own creative projects. \n\nFinally, it’s Tony with the crème de la crème of objects to tempt the dealers. The mid-century dairy separator may no longer be used, but its decorative qualities are appealing. Which of the astute buyers, and their bids, will rise to the top? \n\nThe dealers today are Melissa, Jon, Viki, Jo and James.
