On Palm Sunday, Sean Fletcher explores different ways Christians continue to retell and interpret the life of Jesus, through powerful performances and expressive works of art.\n\nSean meets the theatrical troupe preparing for the annual Trafalgar Square Passion Play, watched by over 20,000 people every Easter, which is being rehearsed at the Wintershall estate in Surrey. He hears how the faith of the actors has been deepened by the experience of bringing Jesus’s life to the screen.\n\nAnd back at Wintershall, Sean reflects on the journey to the Crucifixion through 14 Stations of the Cross, sculptures placed in different parts of the estate depicting the suffering of Jesus on Good Friday. Sean meets a local school group visiting the stations and speaks to one of the artists who helped to create them - renowned sculptor Nic Fiddian Green.\n\nWith hymns and songs for Holy Week, including a special performance from actor and singer Shaun Escoffrey.\n\nMusic featured:\n\n1.\tRide on, Ride on in Majesty – Winchester Cathedral\n2.\tKing of Kings, Majesty - Kendal Parish Church\n3.\tGethsemane – Shaun Escoffery\n4.\tI Stand Amazed – Saint Wilfrid, Bognor Regis\n5.\tI Want Jesus to Walk with Me – LSO St Luke’s\n6.\tOne More Step Along the World I Go – Albert Hall, Nottingham
