It’s the start of a new adventure in Cymru/Wales with a fresh-faced pair on their first ever road trip together: jewellery expert Izzie Balmer and 20th-century design whizz Mark Hill.\n\nBehind the wheel of their chic 1987 Lotus Éclat, they head into the Pembrokeshire countryside, weighed down with £1,500 each to last the week.\n\nMark Hill makes the first move when he becomes bewitched by some mid-20th century magic tricks in Cardigan, while Izzie Balmer feels sweet about a Victorian folding travel cake stand. And while Mark explores the history of Welsh love spoons in Kilgetty, Izzie unwinds by Cardigan Bay before pootling through Pembrokeshire, picking up Murano glassware, cutlery, toleware and more.\n\nAnd as if buying, browsing and banter wasn’t enough, everything they’ve invested in goes under the hammer, making one of them the first champ of their antiques adventure.
