The roadshow is at Sefton Park in Liverpool, where treasures include 2,000-year-old cufflinks, a letter from Kate Bush, a portrait from the English Civil War and an early version of the Beatles logo made for a drumkit.\n\nMarc Allum marvels at the largest guitar ever seen on the roadshow, a novelty giant Hoffner, the brand favoured by Paul McCartney, and he is moved to tears by another piece of music memorabilia – a touching letter from Kate Bush to an avid fan.\n\nGordon Foster discusses the merits of cleaning silverware, while John Foster is excited by a pair of cufflinks fashioned from 2,000-year-old coins. Eric Knowles challenges Fiona to guess the values of three unique cameo glass vases.\n\nAdam Schoon is intrigued by a portrait and a collection of clothes that reveal a bloody chapter of the English Civil War, while John Benjamin admires a necklace crafted from scores of colourful gems from Sri Lanka that was discovered in a loft.\n\nFiona meets the descendent of a local hero, James Clarke, who moved to the city from Guyana at the turn of the 20th century and used his swimming skills to save countless lives in Liverpool’s docks.
