A mechanic who wanted £50,000 after he claimed a faulty car jack fell on his hand is stopped in his tracks when investigators find his version of events just doesn’t stack up. \n\nA young woman seeking compensation after an accident supposedly left her barely able to walk ends up in the high court when investigators discover her injuries had not put a stop to her world travels. And the scammer who took out a string of dodgy motor policies over the phone is caught out by sharp-eared investigators.
