2022: Opening Round Highlights
Eilidh Barbour introduces extended highlights of the much-anticipated 150th Open Championship from St Andrews.\n\nThe ‘Home of Golf’ is hosting the celebrated tournament for the first time since 2015, when American Zach Johnson emerged victorious, and the world’s best golfers are here again to compete for the famous Claret Jug over the notoriously tricky links of the Old Course.\n\nThe USA’s Collin Morikawa is defending the title he won in style at Royal St George’s last year. He's up against the in-form Rory McIlroy, 2022 PGA Champion Justin Thomas and world number one Scottie Scheffler. Fifteen-time major champion Tiger Woods will also play in this event for the first time since 2019.\n\nCommentary comes from Andrew Cotter, Ned Michaels and Ken Brown.
