As the preparation for the 24th Deaflympics take place in Rio de Janeiro, Deaflympics: Passing the Baton is a See Hear special that revisits the best moments and achievements of Team GB's athletes from across the years, as well as looking to the future of deaf sports and Britain in the Deaflympics.\n\nVeterans Damaris Cooke, Brian Kokoruwe and Bryan Whalley tell the stories behind their most memorable moments. They share their journey from humble beginnings to representing Team GB in the Deaflympics and relive memories of their participation in competitions, while also watching archive footage from their heydays such as Melbourne 2005, Los Angeles 1985 and Taipei 2009.\n\nWe meet the new cohort of athletes who are hoping to qualify for this year’s Deaflympics - Rylan Casey, Bethan Lishman and Malachi Oram. They share their hopes, fears and ambitions for Brazil.
