Molly examines her shelf of special things at the back of Mack’s stall. She chooses the sprig of lavender and remembers the day she got it…\n\nMolly feels sad. Everything reminds her of Alice today, including James’s book, Ruby’s origami and Bob’s lavender. James and Ruby think of ways to cheer her up. Ruby suggests Molly should make a fairy bundle with Bob’s lavender.\n\nMrs Juniper decides to make pesto pasta from Bob’s bumper basil crop as a lunchtime special. Moira turns her nose up at it, telling Mrs Juniper that she doesn’t like pesto. At lunch, Mrs Juniper decides to test out Moira’s stubbornness by sneaking some into her plain chicken sandwich.\n
