Although remoteness and Viking raids have obscured its history, an undeniable air of spirituality remains.\n\nBen visits crofter Rhoda Meek, who balances farming life with a day job in IT.\n\nJulie Clarke left her life in Glasgow to escape a difficult upbringing and moved to the Isle of Coll, transitioning to a woman in the process. The island and its people gave her confidence and support.\n\nA highlight of Ben’s journey is a visit to Iona, the island after which he named his daughter.\n\nBen ends his pilgrimage staying overnight in a shepherd's hut.
