Series 3: 2. Lisa and Judy
Moving is not an option for soon-to-be grandparents Lisa and Judy. Their house in Gosport, Hampshire holds 20 years of family memories and a lifetime of antiques and heirlooms.\n\nLisa and Judy’s family frequently descend upon them for social get-togethers, and they love to host. For years, they have put up with cooking in a small, unpractical kitchen and having to squeeze everyone into a cramped dining room. Now, with a grandchild on the way, they have decided they finally need to put an end to stressful hosting and make their home fit the needs of the years ahead.\n\nThey have also inherited two family heirlooms: an antique armoire (a huge decorative cabinet) that is too tall to fit in their house and a chandelier which won’t hang from their low ceilings.\n\nIt’s up to architects Will Foster and Lynsey Elliott to reimagine Lisa and Judy’s home and their lifetime of memories - but they are each coming at the problem from very different places.
