Dilip Rai’s arrival in search of education presents Clodagh with a dilemma, and she is forced to turn to Mr Dean for help.\n\nAs Clodagh struggles to keep control of the convent, Sister Philippa announces her desire to leave. Forbidden feelings between Sister Clodagh, Sister Ruth and Mr Dean come to a head at Christmas, interrupted by the dramatic arrival of Sister Adela and Father Roberts.
