Group Stage: Portugal v DR Congo
Live coverage of the opening match in Group K as Portugal face the Democratic Republic of Congo in Houston.\n\nPortugal come into the tournament ten years on from winning Euro 2016, and they are highly fancied to go deep into this World Cup. Head coach Roberto Martinez has a hugely talented group of players to choose from, including PSG midfielder Vitinha, 41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo and Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes. \n\nThe Democratic Republic of Congo featured at the 1974 edition – then known as Zaire – and return to the World Cup 52 years later following dramatic qualification in extra time of their intercontinental play-off against Jamaica. Their squad contains plenty of Premier League names, including West Ham defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Sunderland midfielder Noah Sadiki and Newcastle striker Yoane Wissa.
