Christmas is coming, with four turtle doves, four helpings of yule log and four fresh-faced celebrities battling it out in the MasterChef kitchen for the sparkliest prize of the year: the Golden Whisk trophy. Yes, Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook-Off fizzes back with another seriously yummy helping of festive cheer.\n\nThe guest list includes celebrities that are firmly positioned at the top of their showbiz trees: reality TV star GK Barry, award-winning actor and all-round top boy Kola Bokinni, BBC disability correspondent and TV presenter Nikki Fox, and stand-up comic, who is also the excitable voice of Love Island, Iain Stirling. \n\nIf the celebrities are to have any chance of getting their glittery mitts on the trophy, they must impress the judges across two tasks, designed to challenge and inspire them in equal parts. The one who impresses the most will become this year’s champion and forever more be asked to cook at dinner parties.\n\nFirst stop on this magical journey is the secret Santa mystery box. The festive four each have a gift to open, and inside they will find their own recipe, together with all the ingredients needed to cook a celebratory Christmas centrepiece. Think of an indulgent tiramisu roulade, a porchetta dish fit for a cosy fireside and a spectacular octopus treat giving those winter sun vibes. \n\nHaving created masterpieces fit for a leaping lord, it’s time for the judges to taste. To help them pick their favourite, they have called in the help of the Celebrity MasterChef winner in 2024, Vito Coppola. With the recipes having their own Italian twist, let’s hope the celebrities’ offerings don’t have him tango-ing for the nearest exit. \n\nNext, it’s time to pull out all the stops as the festive four cook their ultimate Christmas dinner. Every bell and whistle must take centre stage, with the celebrities spending two hours to produce two courses that would even have Scrooge singing their praises.\n\nAfter tasting some incredible food, all that’s left is for the judges to pick their winner.
