Series 28: 21. Chaos in the Camper
Sunny South Yorkshire is the launch pad for intrepid road trippers Charles Hanson and Roo Irvine. They will be nipping about hill and dale in their powder blue 1970s VW camper van, and battling it out at auction armed with £400 each. Whoever wins the best of five will be declared the road trip champ. \n\nCharles comes across one of the first road maps of Scotland from the 17th century. What a find! Enthusiastic as ever, he also collects a gloriously green French Tiffany style vase. Ooh la la! While Charles dishes out the dosh, Roo parts with some of her own cash to buy an art nouveau mirror and a sparkling suite of jewels to name just a few of her delights. \n\nTaking a break from her shopping, Roo is in Sheffield to find out about an almost-forgotten pioneer of LGBT rights, Edward Carpenter. \n\nBrace yourselves for a tour of South Yorkshire in the non-stop Roo and Charles party bus. But friendship aside, who will clinch the very first auction out of five. Buckle up for a thrilling adventure.
