This show comes from Staffordshire and North Wales, with teams shopping for bargains on a budget. In red, it’s father and son-in-law Simon and Heath, who are happy to spend if the right item comes along. Against them in blue are mother and daughter-in-law Jill and Kelly. They’re looking for the hidden gems.\n\nGuided by Jonathan Pratt, the reds spot an antique barometer, but is the outlook fair for the team? Meanwhile, the blues’ expert Irita Marriott takes a shine to an art and crafts copper box, but will she convince the reds to splash out? \n\nThe second set of teams are sisters Denise and Marie in red, joined by expert Jonathan Pratt, and married couple Karen and Huw in blue, guided by Irita Marriott.\n\nBoth teams spot silver items, but do they have the 'metal' to part with their cash? The blues are dazzled by a Blue John ring, but not by the three-figure price tag, while Denise nags Marie to consider a rocking horse. Trot on reds! \n\nIn Llangollen, Christina Trevanion quizzes passers-by about a mystery object made of copper, with a handle and a pouring lip. She reveals its true identity before taking the short journey to Wrexham for the auction at Matthew Tong’s auction house.
