A night of thrills and suspense awaits as Alfred Hitchcock’s favourite composer – Bernard Herrmann – is celebrated at the Royal Albert Hall. Highlights include the themes from Vertigo, Psycho and Taxi Driver, as well as Erich Korngold’s sumptuous cello concerto from superstar American Sterling Elliott. \n \nCharismatic conductor Edwin Outwater leads the BBC Concert Orchestra, while Edith Bowman presents.
