A beloved wallaby mum is facing a life-threatening condition. Keepers are holding their breath as they wait to find out whether Lara is suffering from lumpy jaw, a devastating illness with no cure. If the worst happens, her young joey could be left orphaned. It’s an anxious wait as vet Alex delivers his verdict. \n\nMeanwhile, over in Lion Country, Megan and Hamza join forces for a special enrichment challenge as they find out if the big cats will hunt up trees! \n\nAt the giraffe house, Kate and Tom use a specialist 360-degree camera to get a unique view of the herd, but will the images reveal clues to what the problem with one of them might be? \n\nIn the east Africa reserve, keepers are keeping a close watch on the social dynamics of the herd of roan antelope. With breeding hopes high, it’s important to weigh the females, but getting a skittish antelope onto the scales is easier said than done. \n\nMeanwhile, the ostriches have laid a bumper batch of eggs, but are any of them viable?
