George Gallaccio Remembers Miss Marple
Joan Hickson’s portrayal of Agatha Christie’s Miss Marple in the BBC’s 1980s classic adaptations is still considered by fans to be the definitive version of the elderly crime-cracker. Here, we join acclaimed producer George Gallaccio, the mastermind who controlled things behind the scenes throughout the series, for the inside story on how Christie’s tales of death and deception were brought to life for the small screen, and he gives his personal perspective on the pleasures of working with one of television’s best-loved actresses.
